On October 7th, three Catholic Workers were among the "Waddington 6" who were ontrial at Lincolnshire Magistrates Court. They were charged with criminal damage, forcutting the fence at RAF Waddington in June this year before exploring the base tolook for the drone control units. RAF Waddington is where UK armed drones arecontrolled from as they fly over and attach targets in Afghanistan. The Judge found them guilty, "with a heavy heart" and encouraged them to appeal. This inter-faith day is part of a month of daily direct action against Trident renewal called by Trident Ploughshares. Groups participating include London Catholic Worker, Pax Christi, Fellowship of Reconciliation, Wake Up, Quakers, Christian Peacemaker Teams, The Catholic Worker Farm, Anglican Pacifist Fellowship and Christian Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. We invite groups and individuals of all faiths to join us in praying for peace and declaring “No Faith in Trident!”

Her wake took place in Stella Maris Convent May 3rd, 2016. Her funeral Mass was held in St. Thomas More Church on the St. John’s University campus. She was later cremated.
