2 large onions, cut in 1/4-inch slices
1 teapsoon salt
1 quart milk
1/3 cup flour
Deep hot vegetable shortening
Separate onion slices into rings (there shoud be about one quart.) Soak in salted milk 15 to 20 minutes.
