Curriculum: Athletes Assisting with Fundraising – A workshop designed to explain the relationship
between Special Olympics and the people who support us financially. There is a
discussion about the process of developing a request for sponsorship and setting up a
meeting review a funding proposal; as well as what role an athlete might play in such a
meeting.

The 2018 Special Olympics USA Games will be held in Seattle, Washington July 1-6, 2018. More than 4,000 athletes and coaches representing 50 state Programs and the District of Columbia, along with the support of tens of thousands of volunteers and spectators, will compete in 14 Olympic-type team and individual sports.
